On* Monday 6th November 2023 at 12:00pm* there will be a seminar held by
*Prof.* *JORGE E. VIÑUALES (University of Cambridge) *titled:



*The energy transition at a critical juncture*



The seminar is organised by the research group R4S – Regulation for
Sustainability, and SEEDS (Sustainability, Environmental Economics and
Dynamics Studies), as part of Prof. Simone Borghesi’s course in
Environmental Economics, at the Department of Political and International
Sciences (DISPI).



Professor Jorge E. Viñuales holds the Harold Samuel Chair of Law and
Environmental Policy at the University of Cambridge and is the founder and
former Director of the Cambridge Centre for Environment, Energy and Natural
Resource Governance (C-EENRG).



He regularly advises governments, companies, international organisations or
major NGOs on matters of environmental law and policy, investment law,
human rights, maritime delimitation and public international law at large.



The seminar will take place in aula 5 at the Presidio Mattioli (via

Il professor Jorge E. Viñuales è titolare della cattedra Harold Samuel di
diritto e politica ambientale presso l'Università di Cambridge ed è il
fondatore ed ex direttore del Cambridge Centre for Environment, Energy and
Natural Resource Governance (C-EENRG).



Presta regolarmente consulenza a governi, aziende, organizzazioni
internazionali e grandi ONG su questioni di diritto e politica ambientale,
diritto degli investimenti, diritti umani, delimitazione marittima e
diritto pubblico internazionale in generale.
