        and Its Application to Electromagnetic Induction Imaging"</font></h1>

    <p style="margin-bottom: 0cm" align="justify"><font face="Times New
        Roman, Times, serif">In this lecture, we will provide an
        introduction to atomic magnetometry and its recent application
        to electromagnetic induction imaging. In the first part, the
        fundamentals principles of atomic magnetometry will be outlined,
        as well as its most common experimental techniques. Particular
        attention will be dedicated to the design, implementation, and
        characterisation of radio-frequency atomic magnetometers. In the
        second part, the concept of magnetic induction tomography will
        be introduced, as opposed to conventional “passive”
        magnetometry. The recent demonstration of imaging with atomic
        magnetometers in electromagnetic induction configuration will be
        presented. Applications of the technique to numerous fields,
        from security screening to biomedical imaging, will be presented
        in detail.   </font><br>
